Mrs. "Cee" is the program director/owner of Little Scholars Learning Center (LSLC). LSLC is a private home child care that has been operating since June 1, 2004. Before Mrs. Cee became a private child care provider, she taught in the private and public sector. She was also the lead Pre-K teacher at a Preschool in Tallahassee, Florida, and this is when she left to begin a journey of educating the young minds her way. Teaching and educating our young children are a gift that Mrs. Cee is proud of completing each day.
Mrs. Cee is a native of Longs, South Carolina. It is a little town fifteen minutes from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. At the age of 19, Mrs. Cee attended Benedict College in Columbia, South Carolina to pursue a degree in History. After studying and realizing that Benedict did not have History as a major, she obtained a B.S degree in Child and Family Development with a minor in Childcare Administration. She did not stop there. Mrs. Cee wanted to expand her knowledge in business to help give her better knowledge of the "behind the scenes" of business and for her future growth. In October 2017, Mrs. Cee obtained her MBA Graduate Certificate from Walden University. She then continued on to obtain an MBA from Walden University in 2019 in Small Businesses and Entrepreneurship. While obtaining this degree, Mrs. Cee was invited to become a presidential member of the largest national honor society, The National Society of Leadership and Success. She is currently earning her Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology specializing in Child and Adolescent Development from Walden University. In addition to pursuing her Ph.D., she will obtain her Master's of Philosophy degree in 2022 from Walden University. In January 2021, Mrs. Cee became a lifetime member of The International Honor Society in Psychology Psi Chi, and she also became a member of the first collegiate online sorority of Sigma Chi Psi. Mrs. Cee holds the position of secretary and Membership holder with Florida Family Child Care Home Association (FFCCHA) since May 2017. As of 2019, Mrs. Cee added the position of Chapter Representative onto her resume'. FFCCHA holds quarterly meetings and training in which Mrs. Cee attends to keep her knowledgeable in the early education of children. She is also a member of the North Florida Family Child Care Association. In April 2016, Mrs. Cee became a member of the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW). Mrs. Cee still has more goals to accomplish, but she will never let anything stand in her way of educating our youth.
Look forward to her opening that Academy shortly!
